Soviet Man and Woman
5' by 3' Oil and mixed media on canvas

As the Soviets tried to start a new world where everyone was equal, they came across an unfortunate twist of nature: That man and woman were indeed different in many ways. Nevertheless, the Soviets still tired to make them as equal as possible, by dressing them almost identically, giving each the same type of shovel to work with, and putting vodka in front of each of them so that they are similarly sedated from this world they are now living in. Again, they have no identity and the only differentiating component is that the man has a “M” on his face and the woman has the letter which starts to spell “woman” on her face.
