This is a painting that depicts the strength of a wife. The artist’s wife is determined to the point where during the communistic years, when she also painted, she was able to allow her paintings to be shown when many of us “Non-Conformists” were unable to do so. The artist’s wife has amazing strength, wisdom and rationale. This painting was created when the artist’s daughter was born, her face seen behind the main face lower-center of the painting – In hopes that their daughter could also exude the independence and power that her mother does. A Wife’s patience, warmth, love, loyalty and dedication to her family is depicted in this painting – Which is also strewn with confusion, just like all of life is, which the painter’s wife is able to eloquently navigate through.
