The artist never forgot the amazing exhibits in Moscow in 1956. This was the first time that Picasso was exhibited in the Soviet Union. The freedom in expression was amazing and captured strange, timeless, as well as irrational images. It was refreshing to witness this type of art, especially how it can be captured on canvas. In this painting the artist is trying to capture some of these tendencies, by collaborating and tying in those elements that exist all around us.
